Best meal deals right now?

Main Post: Best meal deals right now?

Top Comment: I can’t point to anything specifically, but a lot of fast food apps will have killer deals sometimes-like bogo stuff, or like “Free Sandwhich with any purchase” or really discounted stuff-I’d recommend downloading as many of the apps as you can and just scoping them out daily-my bf does this and gets points and free shit all the time

Would you use an app to discover happy hour deals near you?

Main Post:

Hey everyone!

I’m working on an app that helps you find the best happy hour deals at bars and restaurants near you. It would also let you plan bar hopping itineraries, coordinate with friends, and use advanced search filters (like day, time, neighbourhood, etc.).

I’d love some honest feedback:

  • Would you actually use something like this?
  • What would make it worth downloading?
  • Any deal-breakers?

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!

Top Comment: Things like this end up killing the golden goose. Companies want to increase business but there are limits and sometimes it gets out of control.

Amazon Prime Day deals... are these discounts even real?

Main Post:

Prime Day is around the corner and all I’m seeing is “big sale” banners and crazy discount tags everywhere. But honestly, some of the stuff I’ve been watching seems to be the same price as before or barely changed. One product showed 40 percent off but I’m pretty sure it was at that same price last month too

I heard there are tools that can show the price history or let you compare prices across different sites. Never used them though. Do those actually work? Can they help you figure out if the deal is real or just marketing fluff?

Trying to decide whether it’s even worth buying anything during these sales or if it’s just clever pricing tricks. Anyone else feeling the same?

Best Deals on Table Saws for Beginners?

Main Post:

Just starting out on my wood working journey and I'm looking for deals on table saws. I've heard good things about Dewalt and Rigid, any other brands or specific models I should look into? Noticed online that a lot of people are saying to avoid Ryobi like the plague, but is it a good option for someone just learning? Thanks in advance!

Top Comment: The best budget table saw in my book is the skil 10 inch saw. It goes on sale for 270$. Comes with a rack and pinion fence. And has a solid motor. For the budget category it just feels like the other brands just haven't caught up yet.
